Falling Leaves III Part Three
"I think he would have had the power. In Ezekiel 28:12 it says, 'You are the full measure and the finishing touch of all that constitutes completeness, full of wisdom." James reads, "28:17, 'Your heart was proud and lifted up because of thy beauty, you have corrupted thy wisdom for the sake of your splendor...' He was conceded, so he used his wisdom to feed his ego, he did corrupt his wisdom. So, he had wisdom and he used it to show off his beauty. How would that manifest itself? Would he try to make things if he were trying to be a god? What are the characteristics of a god? They create things. That's mandatory to prove yourself a god." "To arrange yourself and fully be able to declare you are a god you need your own things," the Baroness declares. "Doesn't it say that God cast him before kings?" Ray questions. "Yes." James looks at a piece of paper he has stuck in is Bible. "If God cast him before Kings so that they might behold, have we seen that? When he was first cast down, Kings were here? Then he was already fallen when he tempted Adam and Eve? There were no Kings here when Adam and Eve were in the garden." "That doesn't mean that they weren't God's people, in fact that might mean that they were Gods people if he shamed Lucifer before them." the Baron brushes a piece of lint from his shirt, then quickly looks at Mr. Laab, who raises his eyebrows at him. "I'm sure God made the first perfect man whenever that was. If they were Kings, then they would have been intelligent and in God's image." James tucks a stuffed mushroom cap in his mouth. "So if there were people here before Adam and Eve, they were God's people?" Crystal responds. "Probably so, I don't know about the archaic forms, of five million years ago," James continues to chew. "That's too horrible to consider," the Baroness raises up and covers her eyes. "Let's change the subject." "Oh darling you're so squeamish," the Baron pats his wife. "Horrible things happen even now." "Who knows why God would have allowed something like this?" Alex offers. "Who knows why He ever made Satan," the Baroness answers. "He knew what he would do. I don't know, maybe He allowed it to address a problem that was destined to manifest itself at some time, no matter who He made. He allowed, if it happened, the tampering of some life for the same reason. God's creatures have free will." "And usually they have a soul that lives forever and has to be judged. So... it would seem, God would give mankind every possible chance and advantage at that prospect." Crystal picks up a candle and blows it out pensively. "If there were a God, wouldn't he always have created man in his image? Isn't he a God of consistency, balance and order?" Thomas counters. "Would He always give man the tools necessary to address life with intelligence and dignity?" "It seems like some human life in the past has a mixed up beginning." Alec looks at Thomas. "I mean where would these lower level humans go? Something's wrong here. It states in the Bible that man is born to live once and die, then go to heaven or hell. I wonder if Adam and Eve were complete when they were created?" "Really," Ray agrees. "Wouldn't God have made man in a design in which communion with him would be satisfying? Then he would have certain features, to be able to accomplish that, right? So Adam and Eve would have been complete." "Yes, but what exactly does that mean? Gods image?" Crystal tilts her head at James."I would think in God's image means that we function spiritually like he, and operate with emotions and similar desires," James answers, "that our basic foundation is structured like his, our moral character, our spiritual nature, I think it means we are not animals. Animals are not in God's image, some don't love, and they don't have morals. His likeness means we are like Him or speaks of our appearance." "Some people are saying that creation theories are dangerous doctrine and should be steered away from," the Baroness continues. "They think it is better to not question anything not understood. To not think of it, not attempt to unravel mysteries. Some say, If God wants us to know things He will tell us." "Well, evolution is a much worse belief and hell is a much more dangerous doctrine than talking about the possibility that the Bible is literally true in places where some thought it to be symbolic. Maybe He is telling us," Alec looks around. "Therein lies the age-old problem," Crystal adjusts herself in her seat. "At any rate, all that needs to be said is I don't see that, not get judgmental and irritated. At least we're not turning others away, from the real truth and the light." "Right, reasoning together concerning the issues of the Bible is leading others to Christ," Ray considers. "Maybe people are keeping some of the uncaught from Christ by only being willing to have their beliefs displayed. Maybe it's the devil trying to incite fear into the ones that can tap into the truth, so he can stop them. How can God reveal secrets to us, the secrets He promised to expose in the end days, if we do not think about them? Could that be the manifestation of evil trying to hold back the onset of the end in yet another way? The Bible says 'come let us reason together.'" "Yes, we are just reasoning, that is how we learn," James rises. "Lets check Jude 1:6, it speaks of Angels leaving the perimeters that God set up and that he has them locked in chains in darkness. So who are they? It's not Lucifer, he was out when the Bible was written, and we know some are out, since the fall. So it's not speaking of the fallen Angel punishment. Maybe not all were released.""Some are locked up by the River Euphrates," Ray takes the candle out of Crystal's hand and re-lights it, placing it back down. "Maybe that's why. The Bible says in Genesis 6:2, ' The Sons of God,' which some scholars say are Angels, 'saw the daughters of men, that they were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose.' and later 'There were giants on the earth in those days.'" the Baroness opens her eyes wide. "I think some people believe that God caused a flood, in part, to kill off these offspring, and that Satan was trying to prevent the birth of Jesus by contaminating the seed of man." "Oh darling," the Baron gives his wife a strange look, "Lets not get crazy, here." He clears his throat and looks strained at Laab. The Baroness ignores her husband. "Yet, after that, giants were found again, Goliath. Some think that the gene was in one of Noah's daughters-in-law. But it didn't affect as many as it may have." "Giants!" Laab laughs and s8 tares at430 the Baroness. "I know about that theory, Baroness," Ray answers. "How do we know Sons of God are Angels?" Alex asks. Well, maybe we can't be sure, but it would seem sons of man are humans," Ray continues. "Besides, at that point, we already knew men had mated with women. So why would it say that men thought women were pretty so they mated with them? Like we didn't know that? How could that have made giants anyway, like Goliath? Wouldn't it have just said they were giants in the land and nobody knew why?" The candles on the table fall off, the rugs catch fire. The ice sculpture on the banquet table cracks the chandeliers shake. The orchestra stage breaks and the string sections fall onto the dance floor. The people scream and run as the earth quakes.
