CloudsI am reminded of how problems we face in life may appear the same way; massive, yet once we have passed them, we often look back and say,"That wasn't so bad. It wasn't as difficult as I feared." It is easy to feel overwhelmed during the face of adversity, but let us not forget that when compared to the greater scheme of things, most of life's bumps and bruises are no more frightening than the silly old cloud which looms high above our head. The sting of puppy-love jilted seems as if we will never again know love, but before you know it, love finds us again. A dented fender that sends our spouse in a tizzy may seem serious at the time, but in a few days the guy at the garage calls to tell you your fender is fixed and good as new! Life has enough REAL hurts that we really shouldn't try to add dozens of smaller ones to our daily existence. Life is too short, and time is too precious. Trust in God and His abilities, and before you know it, all obstacles will seem as light as... a cloud.
