Watching The Son Rise

From the balcony of my hotel room while on vacation in Florida I sit and watch the beautiful sun rise.I gaze in awesome wonder of the massive orange ball as it peers over the horizon displaying its brilliant tones of bronze.Enjoying the splendor of nature is all well and fine, but there is another "son" rise which presents even greater reason to celebrate, and that is the rising of the Son of God! How many times do we hear the story of Jesus' suffering, death and resurrection, and we perceive it to be nothing more than lackluster fiction? Open your eyes, my dear friends, and just as you can appreciate the stunning beauty of the trees, colorful and fragrant flowers, and rainbows which stretch across the sky, the reality of Christ's miraculous resurrection is indeed reason for joyful celebration! The summer sun may warm your skin but the grace, goodness and love of God is here to warm your heart!
