Follow Me

Mark 2:14 "As Jesus walked along, He saw Levi..sitting in a tax collectors booth. "Follow me", Jesus said, and Levi got up and followed Him.We headed out to the beach, my grandson and I. I said,"come on, come on…follow me!"He frolicked through the sand, keeping up with my steps to the best of his ability. He was so willing to follow me, because he trusted me.

Who do you trust, and who are you willing to follow? Jesus has invited each of us to follow Him. It is a personal invitation which takes place between you and Him, and has nothing to do with following famous church leaders, great evangelists or any other Christian. No, this important decision we all have to make was issued by Jesus himself when He said, "Follow me." He repeated the invitation many times while He was here on earth, and it is still His invitation to us today. If you have not accepted this invitation, I hope you will do so today.
