Dew in the WildernessGod's word rang a bell. "I knew you in the wilderness, in the land of great drought." (Hosea 13:5) It is the time when we have nothing we can do except to lift up our eyes to the sky that God knows us. Is not that interesting? But hey - that is not the end. It won't be wilderness forever. Why? Because after Jesus knows us and we know Him, things simply cannot stay the same. Right in the following chapter of Hosea, God promises, "I will be like the dew to Israel; He shall grow like the lily, and lengthen his roots like Lebanon. His branches shall spread; his beauty shall be like an olive tree, and his fragrance like Lebanon." (Hosea 14:5-6) What if you personalize the promise and put your name in it and have faith God is giving it specifically to you? Yes we may walk through wilderness sometimes - but God for you is like the dew, the rainbow during a rainy day and He will establish your roots and keep your beauty . "I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten" (Joel 2:25) declares our Living LORD.
