The Gold Bathing Suit
The year I was eight, I had a gold lame bathing suit. Â I felt like the queen, or at the very least, Esther Williams. Â What I couldnÂt do in that suit! Â Synchronized ballet swimming had nothing on my moves. Or so I thought. Once I donned the gold bathing suit, I was invincible in the water. Sometimes I catch myself dressing a certain way according to my mood. Â If I am feeling confident, maybe a classy, together looking outfit, complete with jewelry. Â If I feel blue or down in the dumps, a sloppy T-shirt,cut-offs, and a ponytail might do it. In the Bible, book of Isaiah, it says, to put on a garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. Â Singing along to some praise and worship music definitely brightens up my depression. So hereÂs the question: what are you wearing today? No matter what it is, GodÂs love and light fit perfectly over it. Â TheyÂre the one-size fits all that really does, any and every day.
