Psalm 42:2Happy New Year to you all! How wonderful it is to celebrate a new year in our lives, full of new hopes and new opportunities to know Jesus better and get closer to Him. One of the resolutions God has put in my heart for this new year is "Lord, create thirst and hunger in me for You, for Your Word, for Your service for Your Glory".

An awesome worship song says:
"Lord, I thirst for You... And I long to be in Your presence
My Soul will wait on You... Father, draw me nearer, draw me nearer To the beauty of Your Holiness

How majestic is to have this song as our intimate call to Jesus every morning in the New Year. Jesus' reply will always be: "For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out my Spirit on your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants." Isaiah 44:3
