Riding High

"What are humans that you are mindful of them, that you care for them? O Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!" Psalms 8:4,9
Riding high above the earth on an airplane never ceases to amaze me.

How does that big metal thing get up off the ground, suspended in what seems to be nothingness, and be propelled forward?

This just happens to be one of the many things I don't understand, but I just believe they work because I have experienced them.

Likewise, the touch of God on my life is something I don't understand, but DO believe. I have experienced it. I know that the God of the universe has looked down from Heaven, through the Milky Way Galaxy and planet earth, down through my community, my street, my home, my room and finally straight into my heart. He has softened my heart, given me gifts, given me salvation through Jesus, the power and special touch of the Holy Spirit in my life, and a divine love for nature.

He has done the same for you, and I hope you realize it. If you think God is too lofty and too busy with things more important than you, then think again! Each one of us is His special chosen child, and He loves us with an everlasting love. Today, connect with Him through prayer, and ask Him to make this fact known to you, if you have any doubt. He will answer you; I am sure!
