Somethingthe one who told us about the great love for others that the Holy Spirit has given you. Colossians 1:8 (NLT) It stood taller than any of the other trees in the clearing. Golden, with the autumn weather, leaves fluttering ever so gently with a slight breeze. Tiny swallows were darting in and among the upper branches. Lots of the little birds, buzzing in and out, in and out. Only this tree. Something about this tree attracted the swallows. There was something about Jesus. There still is. People of all ages were drawn to Him. Especially children. I believe He was like a magnet. Maybe you know someone like that. You just want to be around them, in their presence. You may not know what it is, you just feel drawn to them. You feel comfortable with them. Perhaps it is unconditional Love. Perhaps it is the presence of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit in us gives a glow that comes from the inside, and shows on the outside. That presence, and shine, attracts people, not to us, but to the Lord. That is good news.
