Six Panel Door

We custom built the home where we now reside, and most of the lumber items were those we selected. We chose six panel doors for some exterior and the majority of the interior doors.

Six panel doors are available in solid wood, steel and fiberglass. They all have the same purpose- to open and shut; to let in or keep out. You may choose a variety of finishes - pre painted or stained colors, or in natural wood which you may paint yourself.

As I lay on the sofa one evening last week, I happened to look at the front door. From this angle something on the door attracted my attention. I saw that the upper half of the raised portion of the door formed a perfect cross. The top four recessed panels made the cross very prominent. I immediately thought of Calvary and the cross which Jesus was nailed to. I looked and looked again, wondering why I never had noticed this obvious sight before. I have sanded and painted many a door, even painting the "cross" section first, I remembered. Where were my spiritual eyes? Obviously clouded over with a very thick veil !! I will never again look at a six panel door without first seeing the cross and remembering Jesus.We just celebrated the EMPTY tomb yesterday, but we need to remember the price Christ paid for us on that cross- for us - each one - so that we might reside with Him for eternity.
