The Owner's Manual for a Human LifeThe Owner's Manual admonishes the users to be "in the world but not of the world." The Engineer says of the users: "They are not of the world, even as I am not of it." --John 17:16. One of the users begins a letter to a group of others saying, "To God's elect, strangers in the world..." --1 Peter 1:1. I've come to believe that the Owner's Manual is true. I'd like people I care about to share this conviction. But alas, they only accuse me of being "pushy." But, as I said, I've come to believe this Owner's Manual is true--that is, it's factual, not just a personal philosophy of life--so if the Owner's Manual makes an assertion, that alone is enough for me. But beyond that, it's also been my observation. I've felt it, I know what it says about being "in the world not of it" is true. It's not just words pulled out of context to excuse me for being "pushy," I've seen it. I've seen it affect my relationship with people I wish I could still connect with. That Owner's Manual, penned thousands of years ago, describes this phenomenon exactly as I observe it happening today. That alone should be considered evidence that the Owner's Manual was orchestrated by Someone special.
