Good NewsWith all the negativism we read when we pick up a daily newspaper, such as threats of war, acts of violence, human cruelty and famine, isn't it time we seek out some 'good news?' The word 'gospel' means 'good news.' Just what is this good news? It is that we do not need to be separated from God due for our sinful nature. The information revealed in the gospel is quite simple: Jesus Christ died for our sins so we may have eternal life. Through his death and resurrection, we have forgiveness and new life; we are truly reborn. The good news is presented in God's word, but is also in Jesus Christ himself.
